An 80 year __old couple were having problems __remembering things, so they decided to __go to their doctor to get __checked out to make sure nothing was wrong __with them. When they __arrived at the doctor's, they explained to the __doctor about the __problems they were having with their memory. ____After checking the couple __out, the doctor tells them that they were __physically okay but might __want to start writing things down and make notes __to help them __remember things. The couple thanked the doctor and left. ____Later that __night while watching TV, the old man got up from his chair __and his __wife asks, "Where are you going?" ____He replies, "To the kitchen." ______She asks, "Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?" ____He __replies, "Sure." ____She then asks him, "Don't you think you should __write it down so you __can remember it?" ____He says, "No, I can __remember that." ____She then says, "Well, I also would like __ some strawberries on top. You __had better write that down cause I __know you'll forget that." ____He says, "I can remember that, you __want a bowl of ice cream with __strawberries." ____She replies, __"Well, I also would like whip cream on top. I know you __will forget __that so you better write it down." ____With irritation in his voice, __he says, "I don't need to write that __down, I can remember that." He __then fumes into the kitchen. ____After about 20 minutes he returns __from the kitchen and hands her a __plate of bacon and eggs. ______She stares at the plate for a moment and says, "You forgot my ____toast."
